Integrated Systems

Unlike other manufacturers of fiber optic products, ViaLite will integrate thrid party eqiupment with our fiber products to produce fully integrated systems.  Examples would be in fixed service satellite (FSS) installations such as teleports and earth stations or mobile service satellite (MSS) installations such as field deployable VSAT and maritime communication systems.  In both cases remote terminal equipment is installed outdoors, often mounted onto antenna pedestals, roof-tops or even inside radomes and often where the equipment is exposed to hostile environments.  Such installations come with  operational challenges which our engineering team meet through an innovative approach to equipment design and manufacture.

The ViaLite systems integration capability provides satellite communications service providers and operators with:

• highly integrated COTS solutions for fixed and deployable remote fiber optic terminal equipment
• FSS and MSS remote fiber accessible equipment that is field-proven with a capability to transmit and receive
• a range of service provisions
• extremely stable external or local reference signal from the indoor unit (IDU) to the outdoor unit (ODU)
• optionally incorporate a data management link (RS232, RS485 or Ethernet) between ODU and  IDU
• an SNMP platform that enables both the control and monitoring of IDU and ODU equipment over an intuitive web based browser.
