ViaLiteHD

ViaLiteHD is a completely new design based on user feedback and an understanding of the operational requirements customers face.  ViaLiteHD offers improved performance and new advanced management features.

• 13 RF to fiber cards per chassis
• 26 channels per chassis (using dual RF cards)
• Blind Mate hot swappable cards
• On-card LNB and BUC power
• Outdoor equipment for up to 104 channels per enclosure
• Line cards for L band, IF, S Band, C Band, UHF, VHF and 10MHz
• System can be monitored and controlled remotely via SNMP

The ViaLiteHD system comprises up to 13 rack mounted cards plus an SNMP card, all of which plug into a 19" 3U chassis with dual power supplies.  For applications where a chassis is not required, standalone modules are available for integrating into customer equipment. 

When the ViaLiteHD rack is configured with SNMP in slot 14 the user can fully monitor and control the all RF cards.  A web interface GUI is provided that can be viewed locally or over a network web browser.  Direct SNMP communication with any M&C system is also possible via the SNMP card which provides the following functions

• Parameters on RF cards can be reset
• Real time monitoring of RF card performance
• Alarm monitoring of all slots with event logging
• New RF cards can be automatically reprogrammed with new stored identity
• Actively manage redundancy switching
• Remote SNMP to local SNMP connection via optical fiber
• Allows new configurations of RF card to be uploaded
• Easy to use GUI as shown on right
