ViaLite’s Advanced Diversity Applications

A global leader in satellite communications, benefitted from a more resilient and high-performance network, following the successful deployment of ViaLite’s advanced optical transmission equipment at two major teleport facilities in India.

The new installation enables seamless diversity applications over long distances—up to 161 km using DWDM L-Band links. Featuring triple-redundant fiber paths with extremely low signal variation (just 0.2 dBm across all routes), the system delivers a stable 0 dBm link, ensuring reliable and consistent signal transmission between key operational sites.

The project was designed to enhance network resilience and signal quality, supporting uninterrupted services across all fiber routes. Live traffic testing confirmed stable performance and successful switchover, giving the assurance of a robust, uninterrupted and high-performance infrastructure. To ensure smooth implementation, full on-site support was provided, managing commissioning activities and balancing RF levels across all channels and redundant paths.

Every component in the system comes with a 5-year warranty, reinforcing the long-term reliability and value of the solution.
