Telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) is typically used for satellites, missile testing and spacecraft.

Missile testing with TT&C allows the missile to be tracked and monitored from launch through to ‘splash-down’.  This also means the missile can be steered and analyzed during flight.

TT&C is commonly used for communication between spacecraft and ground systems.  ViaLite‘s equipment allows for the antennas to be remotely located from the control room in these instances.  Traffic signals from antennas are carried by ViaLite wideband RF over fiber links.

The ViaLite links cover all required frequencies – minimizing the equipment needed at remote sites.  Serial digital links enable control of the antennas remotely from the command center.
