Both the ViaLite 3U and 1U indoor rack chassis come with a 5-year warranty as standard.

3U Rack Chassis

The ViaLiteHD 3U Chassis accommodates up to 13 RF dual cards, supporting as many as 26 links. It also houses a dedicated Monitoring & Control Module and dual power supplies, with a choice of AC or DC power input options. The chassis design uses an integrated backplane for connectivity. All ViaLite modules are hot swappable, avoiding the need to power-down the chassis prior to swapping modules. This can be combined with blind mate connectivity and/or redundancy to ensure almost zero downtime.

1U Rack Chassis

The ViaLiteHD 1U Chassis is available in two configurations: with three card slots supporting up to six RF channels in a single rack unit, or with two card slots plus a dedicated Monitoring & Control Module. The chassis features dual redundant, hot-swappable blind-mate power supply modules and is available with either AC or DC power input options.

SNMP Monitoring and Control

When a ViaLiteHD chassis is configured with a Monitoring & Control Module, the user can fully monitor and control the cards. Please see the Monitoring and Control Modules product page for more information.

Optional Fan Assembly

As part of the 3U Chassis, a fan assembly option can be chosen, which contains 12 small fans that operate to reduce the temperature of the chassis. As a result, it is possible to use more modules in the chassis.

When the ViaLite 3U rack is used in ODE outdoor enclosures in warm ambient conditions, it is recommended to add the fan assembly.
