Product Inquiry
The link pair electrical performance is optimized for excellent balance between a low noise figure (NF), high P1dB CP and an industry leading Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR). With each link pair comprising transmitter and receiver, it is possible to further adjust the gain parameters from the factory default settings to optimize the link performance.
ViaLite’s Mil-Aero link pair comes in various hardware formats, such as stand-alone OEM modules (Blue and Black) and chassis rack cards. Chassis rack cards are managed and configured via a site controller which utilizes SNMP and web interface, whereas stand-alone modules are field configurable via USB serial cable.
Outdoor Enclosures
When harsh environmental conditions are a design consideration, the IP55 rated Black OEM can be used, or the Blue OEM modules can be installed within a variety of ViaLite outdoor enclosures, such as the 2 module ODE-MINI or the 4 module ODE-A4.
Adding the Blue modules to the ODE-MINI enclosure provides ‘carrier grade’ features, such as link redundancy, power redundancy, monitoring and control. The IP65 rated enclosure can house two modules, allowing it to be fitted with two transmitter modules, two receiver modules or one of each. SNMP is optional and can be added for remote monitoring and control of the links at the outdoor location.
The Mil-Aero Link is suitable for:
- Defense and Military Aerospace
- Telemetry, boresights, missile tracking and testing
- Radar and Electronic Warfare (EW) simulation
- Tethered systems and UAVs for remote sensing and monitoring
- Air Force Base communications
- Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
- Cellular and Network Timing
- Critical Comms and Disaster Recovery. – It may, in example, be used by coast guards for disaster recovery.
